Plant food

The dog food incident should have clued us in, but it didn't and thus, this post.

We have a plant stand of various plants growing in our kitchen. We thought that they were out of DJ's reach, but apparently, they aren't. In particular, there is a cactus - not the prickly kind but the water retaining kind - that must have shed some of its long-ish "pods". DJ got a hold of one, and in his mouth it went. ::sigh:: I love that you love vegetables, DJ, but that is not a green bean, even if it looks like one.

So I took it out of his mouth (he hadn't chewed it much) and since then, we've had to be on high alert when DJ's loose in the kitchen with us because he heads right for the plant stand now. Next time, DJ, try the Italian Flat Leaf Parsley or the Oregano we have growing in the kitchen. At least that's truly edible, and probably tasty, too!
