Dog food. Yummy.

On Friday, I was busy in the kitchen while DJ was playing in the kitchen with me. Naturally, we keep the dog food bins in the kitchen where we feed the dogs. Up until Friday, DJ couldn't open the bins; he wasn't coordinated enough despite being strong enough. Friday, he not only opened the bin, but then took out a piece of food and popped it in his mouth. Yes, our son ate dog food, sort of. I pulled the dog food out of his mouth before he started to try and chew it. Multiple people had asked us if he'd eaten any dog food yet and now we can say YES! And yes, we have secured the bins so he can't open them now. However, he knows what is keeping the bins from opening! He just doesn't have the coordination yet to undo a twistie tie. ;-)
