The 4th bottom tooth is here!

DJ seems to have a 2-at-a-time teething habit. Only a week and change later after a 3rd bottom tooth showed up, the left side bottom tooth has poked through next to his bottom front two teeth. I suspect it's actually been a few weeks as I didn't notice the 3rd bottom tooth as soon as I noticed this 4th one. The third tooth was visible from a distance whereas this one I had to feel for it - and promptly get bitten - serves me right!

Miss Eleanor showed me this morning how DJ will sustain sound while you pat his open mouth like a native american indian battle call. She says he can do it on his own, too, but I thought it was hysterical that he knows what to do when you do it to him.

SOOOO Big!

I was feeding DJ dinner on Saturday night when I asked him Greek, "DJ, how big are you?" And by golly, the little boy raised both arms up over his head with no prompting whatsoever! The next meal he was in the high chair, I asked him in English how big he is, and he raised both arms over his head again! I think the little boy has learned So Big in both languages! That is SOOOO COOL!!!

A 3rd bottom tooth

DJ finally broke a third bottom tooth through on Wednesday night. I was feeding him dinner when I noticed it. Naturally, I stuck my finger in there to make sure and CHOMP. Yeah, ok, so I deserved it. ;-) Sure enough, that tooth was most certainly through!

Bye Bye!

DJ decided to wave bye-bye to Jeff, Grace's dad yesterday, when he dropped her off at daycare.

Eleanor told me when I went to pick him up and I figured he wouldn't do it for me. Well, he didn't. But when Grace's Mom and Aunt came to get her and we were getting ready to leave, I told DJ to wave bye-bye and sure enough, he did it! He raises his whole arm and waves it up and down. How cute!!!
